Math: Students this week are learning about data and graphing. We have been learning to read and create bar graphs, line graphs, line plot graphs, and pictographs. We will also be learning the data terms: mode, median, and range.
Science. With the preparations for the music program, we have gotten a little behind my original plans for the science quiz this Friday. I think we will end up having the test next Wednesday instead. Many students have been studying their flash cards on Brainscape and are already ready for the test. I recommended for the students to register at this site with their school e-mail and password that way we can use it to learn other things all year long.
- Fact packets (for students who have not mastered addition or subtraction) are due Friday.

Reading/Language:
The end of the quarter is Wednesday. We would love for every child to meet their AR goal for the first quarter by then. However, they may have until Friday to reach 100% if needed.
Social Studies:
Study for Wednesday's test. Study guide must be signed by a parent and returned tomorrow. none
