Nature's Nursery donations needed

Parents,

We are very excited for the students to participate in a special owl unit in the month of October.  Students will be learning about owls by reading high interest, non-fiction books, by researching on the internet, and watching videos.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to dissect and analyze an "owl pellet" (AKA "owl regurgitation"). As a special culmination to the unit, we will be bringing in presenters from Nature's Nursery on October 30th to show the students some live owls and to teach more about them.

In order to receive a reduced fee for the presentation, we have been asked to help with donations to Nature's Nursery.  If you are not familiar with Nature's Nursery, they are a Whitehouse-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to serve as a wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education center.  If you can help us gather any of the supplies on the attached sheet, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

The Fourth Grade Team
