About Mrs. Dressel

I knew that I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was very young!  I grew up in the Toledo area, and earned my Education degree from the University of Toledo.  I went all the way to Las Vegas to begin teaching in 1997.  After two years, I came back to the area and got married to my wonderful husband!  We have a daughter, Brooke, who is going into 7th grade.  And we have a son, Greg, who is going into 5th grade.  This summer I had a wonderful time with my family, especially my trip to Washington D.C. with my kids.

I enjoy change, and always look for new projects and ways to improve my teaching.  After 16 years, I still love teaching, and making learning fun for my students.  I'm really looking forward to the changes ahead for this year.  I do ask for your patience as some of these changes, like new grade cards, online behavior plan, and state standards, may take a little time to iron out the details!

Not only do I enjoy coming to work to teach, I enjoy working with the amazing staff at Whitehouse.  I taught 4th grade alongside Mr. Pransky in the past, and I am excited to team with him this year.  He and the other teachers help make coming to Whitehouse each day wonderful.  To the left is a picture of several of us at the Warrior Dash this summer.  (Maybe I can convince Mr. Pransky to join in next year!)

I take educating my students very seriously.  I want each of them to have the best opportunity to continue a successful education, so that they too can follow their dreams and enjoy a career that they love!
