Electric Toys. We are learning about electrical circuits in Science class. We will do an activity called Toy Take-Apart, during which students will take apart a simple battery powered children's toy. If you have any toys you can donate for this project, it would be greatly appreciated. The toys will be disassembled and may not be usable after the project, so please only send toys that the family does not want anymore. Please send these in by April 22. If you are not able to send any toys, that's okay, too!

ELA Part 2. Tomorrow is Part 2 of the ELA test. Here are a few things you can do to help assure your child does his/her best on the test:
- Be sure that your child gets plenty of rest each night before the testing
- In the morning, be sure your child has a healthy, nourishing breakfast.
- Try to send your child off to school with a positive word encouraging him/her to try their best.
- Many parents have also sent a letter of encouragement for their child to open before the tests. (You'd be amazed at what big smiles kids will get reading these!)
- Each child is allowed and encouraged to have a water bottle at their desk to use when they are thirsty.
- Comfy clothes since the kids will be seated at the computers for long stretches of time.
