Team Mindcrafters Daily Update 4-21-15

Parents,

Reward Party:  On Monday afternoon (4-27) the students will be rewarded for their hard work in preparing for, and completing our State testing.  They earned an indoor game time, with ice cream!  I am providing ice cream for all of the students.  Volunteers to send in toppings or other items would be greatly appreciated.  Please send me an email if you wish to help donate an item, and I will let you know what we could use.  Additionally, students are welcome to bring in a game to play with others during this time.  Students are welcome to bring in games that are easy to explain to others, and quick to play (not Monopoly for example).  I'd prefer they leave the electronics at home.  They get plenty of time with these games, and they typically don't promote interaction with others.

Testing this week. Students did not take the Social Studies test today as originally scheduled. This will be made up in early May. The remaining tests will proceed according to plan.

  • Thursday (ELA)
  • Friday (Math Part 1)
  • Monday (Math Part 2)

We appreciate making sure your child is well rested and nourished on those days so they can come in ready to do their best on these tests.
