Spelling - This week's list is tricky, as the focus is on silent consonants. Your child took a practice test today in Spelling City, and the results are being sent home. I've asked for students missing more than 5 words to get this paper signed and returned to make sure you are aware of his/her need to practice a bit more before tomorrow's test.
Science. Miss Ryan has started a section of our Ecosystems unit on Fossils. Students have made fossils out of plaster of Paris and have read about cast, mold, trace, and amber fossils. Students can play a Quizizz game to review the concepts we have covered so far here:
Sumdog contest. Our students are entered into a Sumdog contest that runs until Friday. Sumdog is a great site for students to practice math skills in a game format. (visit: www.sumdog.com) Students who make the countywide leaderboard can earn prizes and recognition.
