Parents,

Wednesday, May 18 - Dress like your favorite book character day

Thursday, May 19 - Read a T-Shirt Day (wear a shirt with words on it)

Author Joe Kelley will be visiting :)

Friday, May 20 - Be a General - Wear your blue or white AWAKE t-shirt

Students can also participate in a "penny war" to collect money for the Whitehouse Library as well as submit a "delicious" book review and/or a favorite recipe for a Whitehouse Diner cookbook.

Fort Meigs Field Trip.  Thursday is our field trip to Fort Meigs.  Students will need a sack lunch, and be dressed for the weather.

Bike Hike.  This is Friday!  Please have your child bring in his/her helmet this Wednesday to check for a good fit.  See image below for how the helmet should fit your child.  Please also make sure your child rides his/her bike this week in order to practice.  Be sure the bike is in good working condition.  Check that brakes are working and that tires need are fully inflated.  We recommend sending your child with bug spray to help keep the mosquitoes and ticks off.  We are looking forward to a fun day!
