Social Studies - Students have spent the last two classes researching information about a Native American Tribe that used to live in the Ohio region. Tonight's homework is to complete 2 parts of a flap book that they are making to share their findings. They have a page of notes that should be used to write a few sentences for each part of the flap book. Students may choose which two parts they wish to complete. This will be finished up tomorrow in class.
Sumdog competition. There is a special online Math game competition on Sumdog being held from February 4-11. Students who play the games on Sumdog can win daily prizes for participation. It is a great way for students to review math concepts at home in a fun way. Students can play here: http://www.sumdog.com or with the free app.
Valentines Day Party - Just a reminder that both classes will be making Valentine's bags at school for next week. Students will also be given lists to help label Valentines with everyone's names. If your child does not have Valentines, some were donated in the office which can be used.
