Have a great holiday and we'll see you in 2016!

Parents,

First of all, thank you to everyone who donated items for the class party today.  I think the kids had a great time and enjoyed all of the delicious food and treats!

Mrs. Dressel and I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday.  We hope that over break you can spend lots of time with the ones you love and get at least a little rest and relaxation.

Over break, please remind your child to continue reading independently each day.  A reading log was sent home yesterday for your child to keep track of his/her reading over break.  This is not required, but can be turned in for extra class dojo points.  We are hoping that all students will come to school on January 4th ready to take an AR test (or two) over something they have read.

In Math after break we will be beginning "long division" so practicing basic facts over break would be really helpful for them, too.  Students have about a week after break to master multiplication to meet this quarter's Math goal.

As a party activity today, we played a fun Christmas Trivia Kahoot game.  The students asked me to share it.  It could be a fun game to play with the whole family.

See you in 2016!
