Team Mindcrafters Daily Update 10-6-14

Parents,

Field Trip:  Remember that we will be taking a field trip to Sauder's Village tomorrow. 

Important reminders:

• Be sure your child dresses for the weather.  The forecast as of right now is calling for temps in the 50's and chance of rain showers.
  
• Pack a sack lunch and drink for your child.
  
• Please do not send your child with money for the candy shop or general store.  We won't be visiting them. 
• Chaperones, please bring a cell phone and make sure you pack a lunch as well.  You may want an umbrella, too.

Spelling - A note was sent home today, as well as a copy of your child progress in spelling.  Please look for this, and let Mrs. Dressel know if you have any questions.  Some students will have additional practice to do with their spelling words this week.

Reminders:.

• Please return the yellow student directory form if you would like to be included.

READING:

• Read 20 minutes each day. 77% AR goal by Friday

MATH:

Math worksheet - "What's the Difference?"

If needed, have your child watch this video on how to subtract with regrouping:
