Team Mindcrafters Daily Update 10-29-13

Parents,

Just a reminder about our upcoming schedule. There have been some changes to the district calendar this year so please review:

Friday Nov. 1 - No school
Monday Nov. 4 - No school (Parent Teacher Conferences 12-8PM)
Tuesday, Nov. 5 No school (Teacher inservice day and Election Day)
Wednesday, Nov. 6 - Regular day of school
Thursday, Nov. 7 Regular day of school & Parent Teacher conferences in the evening
Friday, Nov. 8 Regular day of school

Pizza Party. We had a nice pizza reward party for the students today. Thank you for all of the donations as well as for encouraging your child with his/her nightly reading and work on memorizing math facts.

Reminders:

Grade cards will come home tomorrow
Pre-conference parent questionnaire - please return by Thursday
Fact packets (for students who have not mastered addition or subtraction) are due Thursday.
Nature's Nursery donations due by Oct. 30th

conference questionnaire

Parents,

This form was sent home yesterday but we had a few students who were absent and we wanted to send an extra copy to everyone.

The 10 minutes we will have together will go by very quickly! We'd like to get some information from you before conferences, so that we can best prepare to have our time be useful and productive for your needs. Please return to school by Thursday, October 31.

Team Mindcrafters Daily Update 10-28-13

Parents,

In order to maximize our short conference time, we are sending home several items today. First are some math and reading reports that we would typically give at conferences, as well as a letter to explain each. Also, we sent home a questionnaire for you to fill out. Please return this by Thursday, so that we can look over them before conferences begin on Monday. Our goal is to spend our conference time addressing your concerns, and answering any questions you have. If you have questions about any of the reports, please bring them with you to conferences.

Gradecards. Go home on Wednesday.

Team Mindcrafters Daily Update 10-25-13

Parents,

It was an awesome week of learning for Team Mindcrafters. It was certainly a great way to end the quarter. Next week we plan on celebrating the success of students who reached goals in Reading and Math. All students who met 100% of their goal in Reading in AR and who mastered addition and subtraction in Math Facts in a Flash will earn a special pizza party on Tuesday during normal lunch time. If your child isn't sure if they met these goals, we will let them know who met these goals on Monday. Look also for another special acknowledgement for the students on that day.

Gradecards. These will go home next Wednesday.

Conferences. These are coming up quickly. See the attached schedule for your time and date. (Apologies for any misspelled names our daughters may have typed in).
