Parents,
Today I was able to conference quickly with all of the students about their progress in reading, writing, and language. By looking over their individual assessment page, many realized just how many times they are not thinking about capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when they write. I reminded them that the goal is always to show, in the end, that they've mastered these skills. We have three weeks left in the quarter, and they each know the areas in which they need to show improvement. Tonight's homework will be a great opportunity for them to show improvement!
