Math. In Math we are starting a new unit on Multiplication and Division. Students will be learning the terms factor, product, multiple, array, area grid, prime and composite numbers as we learn about multiplication properties. Tonight's homework is to watch a video at home and then complete a related activity. If your child has any technological glitches that get in the way of them completing this homework (tonight or in the future), please send me a quick note or e-mail so I can help them address this and get it completed at school.
Multiplication Facts. I can't stress enough the importance of practicing these facts at home. In this math topic and the next, students will be expected to be fast and accurate with their facts.
