Parents,
FT Band. Some students were able to try out some instruments today that they might be interested in playing in 5th grade band. If they did not get to try them today, they should be able to try them tomorrow as long as the band permission slip is turned in by then.
Internet safety. Students listened to an interesting presenter talk to them about internet safety and about how things they post online become "public and permanent." This might make for good dinner table discussion with your child tonight. Ask your child what he/she learned from the presentation today.
Water bottles. Just a reminder that as it heats up, you may want to have your child bring a bottle of water to school.
